Stephan Hollerbach

Prof. Dr. med. Stephan Hollerbach Chief Physician of the Clinic for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy at AKH Celle and Adjunct Professor of Internal Medicine at Ruhr University Bochum is known as a specialist in diagnostic and interventional endoscopy and endosonography as well as gastroenterological oncology. For more than 25 years, his clinical and scientific interests have focused primarily on the application and improvements of endoscopic resection techniques of polyps and early carcinomas in the gastrointestinal tract, the therapeutic application of interventional endosonography, and the multimodal therapy of gastrointestinal cancers. He is head of the Visceral Oncology Center at AKH Celle and reviewer for gastroenterology journals.
