Racho Strauven is a Belgian national based in Switzerland. He holds a Biomedical Master of Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Economics from the Catholic University Leuven, Belgium; he also holds an MSc in Economic Evaluation for Health Technology Assessment from the University of York. Racho has over 15 years of experience in medical devices and has a broad background in clinical research, medical affairs, and outcomes research. He has held key global and regional leadership roles in Europe, US, Asia and Latin America across all Boston Scientific’s divisions. Over the past years he focused on leading Global Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA) initiatives in the field of Endoscopy. Racho is currently Senior Director Health Economics and Market Access in charge of the HEMA, Public Affairs and Data Analytics/RWE organization for Boston Scientific’s $2.3B Europe, Middle East and Africa business (EMEA).
