Prof. Dr. Pieter Hindryckx is an interventional endoscopist and deputy head of clinic at the University Hospital of Ghent, Belgium. His main area of expertise is ERCP and (therapeutic) endoscopic ultrasound. He has given numerous lectures at national and international conferences and is an internationally recognized trainer in advanced ERCP and therapeutic ultrasound. He has already published more than 100 papers in Pubmed-cited journals, the majority as first or last author. He is a previous board member of the Belgian society of gastrointestinal endoscopy (BSGIE) and a faculty member of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE).
