Dr. Suzuki completed Gastroenterology and GI endoscopy training in Japan and
currently works as an Honorary Consultant in Wolfson Unit for Endoscopy at St
Mark’s National Bowel Hospital. Her interests are in advanced therapeutic
endoscopy, colon cancer screening, and image-enhanced endoscopy.
She is currently a member of NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence) in the lower
GI ESD and shows her commitment to education by lecturing and demonstrating live
endoscopy nationally and internationally.
She is a Fellow of JGES (Japanese Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society) and a
member of the International Committee member of JGES to establish collaborative
work between Japan and the UK. She is also a member of the Scientific Committee at ESGE
European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy).
