Luca Elli

Dr Luca Elli is Chief of the “Center for the Prevention and Diagnosis of Celiac Disease”, Fondazione IRCCS Cà Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico – Milano. Elli’s formal training includes a specialization in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy (University of Udine) and a PhD in Gastrointestinal Sciences (university of Milano). During the last years Luca Elli dealt with Celiac Disease acquiring an important clinical and scientific experience, proved by numerous studies published on international journals. His skills range from cell culturing and different lab techniques to endoscopy including small bowel endoscopy (videocapsule and double balloon enteroscopy).
