Gaia Pellegatta, MD, got her degree in Medicine and Surgery at University of Milan and later the specialty in Gastrointestinal Disease at University of Genoa, Italy. Since February 2019, Dr. Pellegatta has been working as Assistant in Endoscopy Unit and Gastroenterology Department of Istituto Clinico Humanitas. She is attending her PhD program at the Humanitas University on non-invasive biomarkers of eosinophilic esophagitis. Her clinical and research activity is mainly focused on the diagnosis, treatment and endoscopic approach of eosinophilic esophagitis, gastro-esophageal reflux and esophageal motor disorders. She has participated in several trials on these fields as Principal Investigator or co-investigator.
