Dr. Lucio mainly deals with diagnostic and operative colonoscopy, diagnostic and operative gastroscopy, preventive colonoscopy, endoscopic resection of polyps and superficial neoplastic lesions of the colon, stomach, esophagus and duodenum.
In addition, he is also dedicated to the treatment of stenosis of the digestive system and to percutaneous endoscopic gastroscopy. Dr. Lucio specialized in 1997 in Digestive System Surgery and Digestive Surgical Endoscopy and in 2004 Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy at the University of Rome La Sapienza.
Dr. Lucio is currently 1st level Medical Director of the Surgical Digestive Endoscopy Operating Unit at the Columbus Presidium – “A. Gemelli ”in Rome as well as being Professor of Surgical Digestive Endoscopy at the Catholic University of the Sacred Cruore of the same city. Dr. Lucio is a member of the Regional Table for the Care Pathway for Colorectal Cancer and author of numerous scientific publications in national and international journals.
