From 1999 to 2001, during the course of specialization in Gastroenterology, he served as an assistant in the Department of Gastroenterology, Institute of Internal Medicine, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Rome, directed by Prof. G.B. Gasbarrini

In May 1999, he attended a period abroad at the Unit of Echoendoscopy, under the guidance of Dr. Santo Erwin, Department of Gastroenterology, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, Ichilov Hospital, Tel Aviv, Israel where he assisted in diagnostic and operative echoendoscopy procedures (pancreatic biopsies, gastric biopsies, celiac ganglion alcoholization)

In October 2003, he specialized in Gastroenterology: Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Rome with a grade of 50/50 with honors

In 2015, he obtained a PhD in “Experimental Endoscopy “Since 1996, he has been practicing digestive endoscopy within the Institute of Clinical Surgery and in the O.U. of Surgical Digestive Endoscopy (Chief Prof. G. Costamagna) of the Catholic University of Rome gaining experience in the field of diagnostic and operative upper and lower tract digestive endoscopy, emergency treatment of digestive hemorrhage, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) biliary and pancreatic, enteroscopy with videocapsulas

Since 2003, he has been a member of the staff of the “European Endoscopy Training Center,” director Prof. Guido Costamagna

From 2004 to 2017, he was hired and served as assistant manager at the U.O. of Digestive Endoscopy, directed by Prof. Guido Costamagna, Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli, Rome, as level I medical director

Since September 1, 2017, he has been the director of the UOC of Digestive Endoscopy, Fondazione Poliambulanza, Brescia
