Dr. Thomas Durick is a board-certified anesthesiologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where he specializes in providing comprehensive anesthetic care for patients undergoing a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the perioperative experience. A graduate of The Ohio State University College of Medicine, he completed his anesthesia residency and Pain Management Fellowship at West Virginia University, followed by a Neuroanesthesia Fellowship at the Barrow Neurologic Institute in Phoenix, Arizona.

He spent 30 years in private practice anesthesia before returning to Ohio State, including 21 years in the Santa Cruz, San Jose, and San Francisco areas, where he worked in and managed ambulatory surgery centers. His expertise includes ambulatory surgery center management (facility billing, coding, collections, and OR efficiency), point-of-care ultrasound, and ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia. In addition to his clinical work, he is passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers. He serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He is also the Anesthesia Clinical Operations Director for Ohio State’s first Ambulatory Surgery Center, Outpatient Care New Albany, and the Associate Director of the Ambulatory Anesthesia Division in the Department of Anesthesiology.
