Ronan Coffey is leading BSC’s GEMS (Global Energy Management System), working towards decarbonisation of our energy streams in operations through the goal of Carbon Neutrality by 2030. With Boston Scientific for 18 years – originally as Facilities Engineer at the Galway manufacturing plant, and for the past 3.5 years as Energy Manager in the Global Real Estate, Facilities and EHS function.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) degree in Building Services from Dublin Institute of Technology and a postgraduate diploma in Environmental Engineering from Trinity College Dublin. He became a Certified Energy Manager in 2009. He has worked for 23 years in construction management, project engineering and design, and facilities engineering roles.
