In 2003, he graduated with honors and distinction in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Naples “Federico II” (5 years and 1 session), with an experimental thesis in Gastroenterology entitled: “Crohn’s disease of the small intestine: comparison of small intestine schism, intestinal ultrasound and scintigraphy with labeled granulocytes.” In 2007, he specialized with honors in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy with an experimental thesis entitled: “Diagnosis and grading of post-surgical recurrence in Crohn’s disease: role of intestinal ultrasound.” From February 2012 to present, he has been a permanent Level I Medical Director at the U.O.C of Digestive Endoscopy and Gastroenterology of the ASST of Cremona. From 2008 to 2012, he was a temporary Level I Medical Director at the U.O.C. of Digestive Endoscopy and Gastroenterology of the same A.O.
