Dr. Mehta is an interventional/advanced endoscopist within the Center for Therapeutic and Interventional Endoscopy (CITE) at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He completed his advanced endoscopy fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA, and was previously at Cleveland Clinic for his Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship. His clinical interests include pancreaticobiliary disease (acute/chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cysts, malignancy of the pancreas/biliary tree), interventional EUS, ERCP, management of early GI cancers, and third space endoscopy. His research interests include therapeutic device development and outcomes studies. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals.
