Dr. Rimbaș graduated from Carol Davila University of Medicine, Bucharest, Romania in 2000. With over 20 years of endoscopic practice, he is a fully trained gastrointestinal endoscopist. Currently, he is employed in the Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Departments at Colentina Clinical Hospital, Bucharest, Romania. He is also a fellow of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) and has been part of the teaching staff of the Gastroenterology Department at Carol Davila University of Medicine since 2006, holding the position of Assistant Professor.
For the past decade, he has closely collaborated with the research team of the Endoscopy Unit at Catholic University, Ospedale A. Gemelli, Rome, Italy. He has authored and co-authored multiple research papers, accessible via their PubMed link. Additionally, Dr. Rimbaș has been part of the team of experts involved in the development of the Therapeutic Endoscopic Ultrasound: European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) Guideline.
