Dr. Jessica Widmer specializes in gastrointestinal cancers and pancreaticobiliary disorders, such as pancreatitis, bile duct stones, and strictures. She performs upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), along with choledochoscopy, pancreatoscopy, confocal endomicroscopy, enteral stenting, endoscopic suturing, and endoscopic mucosal resection.
In her research, Dr. Widmer focuses on innovative endoscopic techniques and the validation of recently introduced technology in the pancreaticobiliary field. As an educator, she has the opportunity to share her passion for medicine and research as a mentor to medical students, residents, and fellows.
