Jérémie JACQUES is Professor of Gastroenterology at the University Hospital of Limoges, France. He specializes in therapeutic endoscopy, with a particular focus on advanced endoscopic resection techniques and the endoscopic treatment of early colorectal neoplasia.
His research has contributed significantly to redefining the role of endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) in Western practice, helping to establish ESD as a major therapeutic option for early colorectal cancer. He leads several national and international research programs in therapeutic endoscopy and colorectal neoplasia.
Professor JACQUES is the Chair of the ESD Special Interest Group of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) and co-founder and director of the French Society for Digestive Endoscopy (SFED) ESD training curriculum. He is actively involved in endoscopy education worldwide and has delivered more than 50 invited lectures at international meetings.
He has authored more than 300 peer-reviewed publications indexed in PubMed and serves as reviewer and editorial board member for several leading gastroenterology and endoscopy journals.
