J. Enrique Domínguez Muñoz

Dr. Enrique Dominguez is Director of the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at University Hospital of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, since 1998. In addition, he is Professor of Gastroenterology at the University of Santiago de Compostela. He started his medical education at the University of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), Spain, and then he continued to become Specialist in Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine of Nordrhein-Westfalen, and Specialist in Gastroenterology at the College of Medicine of Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany. He started his professional career at the University Hospital of Guadalajara, Spain, in the Department of Internal Medicine-Gastroenterology. Since then, he has worked in few hospitals in Spain and Germany. He has published extensively in the field of pancreatic diseases, EUS, ERCP and IBD. He is co-author of the ESGE guideline of endoscopic treatment of chronic pancreatitis.”
