Giulio Antonelli works as Gastroenterologist and Digestive Endoscopist in Rome, Italy, both at Castelli Hospital and “Sapienza” University. He is an active member of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) and is a member of the ESGE Young Endoscopists Committee. His primary research interests are artificial intelligence in colonoscopy, colorectal cancer screening and early colorectal cancer treatment and management. He was recently awarded the ESGE Research Award supporting research in Artificial Intelligence in Colonoscopy.
