Dr. Sarnelli is an Associate Professor of Gastroenterology at the University of Naples “Federico II” since 2018, and he is currently leading the Digestive and Nutritional Physiopathology Unit at the “Federico II” University Hospital in Naples. As Vice Director of the Integrated Department of General Surgery, Transplants, and Gastroenterology, he contributes to institutional decision-making.
He is an active member of SIGE (Italian Society of Gastroenterology), SINGEM (Italian Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility), and ESNM (European Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility).
