Dr. Djalma Coelho Neto received a PhD/Masters and Doctorate from the School of Medicine of the University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), and is Professor of the Department of Endoscopic Surgery of the School of Medicine of Unesa. He is also RJ Head of the Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Service at Américas Medical City (Hospital Samaritano Barra and H. Vitória) and Hospital Pró-Cardíaco Coordinator of General Surgery Internship at HMLJ – Campus Vista Carioca.
Dr. Coelho serves as UNESA President of the Committee for the Specialist Title of Endoscopy of the Brazilian Society of Digestive Endoscopy (SOBED) National (2025-2026), and Biennium Fellow in Therapeutic Endoscopy and Surgery at University of Louisville – USA, Hamburg and France.
