Amrita Sethi is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical center in New York and a member of the GI department’s Interventional Endoscopy Service. Amrita is also the current Director of Pancreaticobiliary Endoscopy Services and Director of Experimental Endoscopy. She has trained over 10 interventional fellows during her time there. And has authored multiple single center and multicenter studies.

For the past several years she has co-directed multiple live endoscopy courses including the Peter D. Stevens Course in GI Innovation, as well as the Caribbean Congress on Therapeutic Endoscopy and the NYSGE Annual Postgraduate Course. She has also participated as faculty in multiple national and international live endoscopy courses.

Amrita has had the privilege of participating in multiple ASGE projects including the Don Wilson International Award in 2011, the Leadership, Education, and Development (LEAD) project in 2014, and the Ambassador Program in Myanmar in 2015. She has served on multiple committees including Research, and currently sits on the Technology Committee.
