Dr. Amaya Ortiz Rodríguez is a specialist in Internal Medicine as well as in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Digestive Endoscopy, having completed her training at the National University of Asunción. She holds an advanced diploma in Neurogastroenterology and Digestive Motility from the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of the Northeast in Argentina. Additionally, she received specialized training in Neurogastroenterology and Digestive Motility at Hospital Clinic in Barcelona. Dr. Ortiz Rodríguez currently serves as a lecturer in the Medicine program at the Catholic University in Asunción, and is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Paraguayan Society of Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy, as well as a Member of the Latin American Society of Neurogastroenterology.
