Finding after SSL resection needing 6‑month repeat?
A) Dysplasia
B) Incomplete margin
C) Crypt dilatation
D) Adjacent HP
Scroll down to find the answer…
The answer is
B) Incomplete margin
For sessile serrated lesions (SSL), incomplete endoscopic margin (i.e., residual polyp) is the key finding mandating early repeat at 6 months. Dysplasia also warrants follow-up but not necessarily 6 months in all guidelines.
