Gastroenterologist at the Pancreatobiliary Endoscopy and EUS Division of the IRCCS San Raffaele Institute, Milan, Italy. A large part of his clinical activity is dedicated to the endoscopic therapy of biliopancreatic diseases, performing ERCP and Therapeutic EUS.
Follows outpatients with pancreatic diseases and participates in the multidisciplinary discussion of patients with Pancreatic Tumors and Hepatobiliary Neoplasms.
PhD Candidate in Molecular Medicine at UniSR, investigating biomarkers for prognostication of pancreatic neoplasms.
Lecturer and Tutor at the Postgraduate School of Gastroenterology and the Master in ERCP at UniSR.
Promotes and participates in numerous Italian and International research protocols, with a specific interest in the role of new Therapeutic EUS procedures in improving the management of patients with biliopancreatic diseases. He has co-authored more than 80 papers in indexed Journals of which 29 as First Author.
