Irene Spinelli got the degree in Medicine and Surgery at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Rome in 2015 and the specialty in Gastroenterology at Sapienza University of Rome in 2020. She attended School of Advance Endoscopy SIGE (Scuola Italiana di Gastroenterologia) in 2020.
She has been working as medical physician at Fondazione Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli IRCCS since November 2020.
Her field of activity involves rare gastrointestinal and hepatological diseases. Her main clinical interest is represented by eosinophilic disorders, in particular esophagitis, and she manages an outpatient clinic dedicated to this pathology with a huge number of patients. She is now participating in some clinical trials regarding eosinophilic esophagitis.
