Research assistant and Ph.D. student, Department of the stomach-, gut- and liver diseases at the Endoscopy Unit, Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery, at Herlev Hospital, Copenhagen.
During his ongoing Ph.D. project, he has been working as an investigator in a study establishing next-generation patient-derived pancreatic cancer organoids from EUS-FNB samples for drug screening in personalized medicine. He completed his internship in gastrointestinal surgery and general medicine in 2016. In his clinical fellowship posts, he focused on general gastroenterological surgery where his current field of interest is advanced endoscopy (endoscopic ultrasound), and pancreatic pathology.
