Paola Soriani, MD, got her degree in Medicine and Surgery at University of Parma and later the specialty in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy at “Alma Mater Studiorum” University of Bologna, Italy.
Since September 2016 she has worked at the Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Unit, Azienda USL Modena, Italy, alongside Dr. Mauro Manno. Her clinical and research activity is mainly focused on the diagnosis and treatment of bilio-pancreatic diseaeses, advanced endoscopic resections, non-anesthesiologist deep sedation during endoscopic procedures, urgent endoscopic procedures. In particular, she is the Principal Investigator of the international multicenter RCT “OTSC vs TTS clips for the treatment of high-risk peptic ulcers bleeding”, for which she has received the ESGE grant in 2020.
