This program explores the application of spray cryotherapy in the management of complex esophageal strictures and neoplasia. Through two live-streamed cases, world-renowned faculty will demonstrate the technical nuances and clinical decision-making involved in treating refractory benign esophageal strictures and esophageal cancer with liquid nitrogen spray cryotherapy. The program emphasizes the clinical implementation of cryotherapy in practice, with a focus on patient selection, procedural techniques, and evidence-based treatment strategies. Special attention will be given to the ability of spray cryotherapy to treat deeper tissue layers, expanding therapeutic options for complex esophageal lesions that may not be adequately addressed by more superficial treatment modalities. Faculty will review recent clinical data and emerging evidence related to efficacy, safety, dosimetry, and treatment frequency, while exploring how cryotherapy can be integrated with other endoscopic, surgical, and oncologic therapies to optimize patient outcomes.
